Herald turns the great stories everyone quotes into narrated, illustrated five-minute chapters.

About Herald

Herald: Great Stories is an iPhone app that tells the stories behind the phrases people quote every day. Each story has five short chapters with painted scenes, a narrator with word-by-word captions, animated maps and motion explainers, and a quiz that makes it stick.

Readers start with 29 stories from the Bible, Ancient Rome and the first Christian witnesses. They collect hero cards, face a boss battle at the end of every story and keep a five-minute daily habit with streaks, a daily edition and Home Screen widgets. New stories arrive inside the app without an update.

Herald is made by Appsolutely Ltda, an independent studio in Brazil. It is available in English and Portuguese.
